What is mccloud railway 25?

McCloud Railway 25 is a steam locomotive that was originally built in 1925 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the McCloud River Railroad in California. It is a 2-6-2 Prairie-type locomotive that weighs approximately 160,000 pounds and is capable of producing 37,600 pounds of tractive effort.

Today, the McCloud Railway 25 is primarily used for tourist excursions and special events on the McCloud Railway, a short-line railroad that operates in northern California. The locomotive has also been featured in several movies and TV shows, including "Little House on the Prairie" and "Back to the Future Part III."
